Preston Mill Loft, the relaxing retreat.

Our charming couples cottage forms part of a grade 2 listed mill, resting in the tranquil hamlet of Wensley Station just outside the quaint market town of Leyburn. Newly renovated, the contemporary country style loft cottage is warm and welcoming. Rest and relax in front of the log burner on a cold winter's evening or unwind with a glass of local gin in the enclosed garden with hot tub looking out over the idyllic views of Wensleydale, towards Penn Hill. The space The sitting room has a light and airy feel with the open apex ceiling and exposed beams, yet still feels cosy and warm. Relax on the sofa and watch TV, read in peace or listen to your own music on the wireless speaker. Whatever way you choose to unwind, leave your shoes or walking boots at the door and put your feet up. A new sofa bed means we can now accommodate 1 or 2 extra guests in a double bed. 🍽️ The newly fitted kitchen has everything you need to make you feel at home and every convenience you could wish for during your stay. If a morning coffee is essential then we have you covered, we have just added a new sage nespresso machine, meaning your morning latte or cappuccino is just a button away. 🛏️ A delightful king-sized bed adorned with crisp white bed linen provides the perfect place to rest your head, after a day of exploring. The full bedroom suite provides ample storage and the south facing window offers one of the best views from the cottage. 🛁 A clean, white, cosy bathroom gives you a place to soak the day away or freshen up in the shower. 🧺 Additionally, the cottage has a small utility with a washer/dryer. 🥾 As you enter the cottage the porch area provides generous storage for outdoor clothing and footwear and outside there is a store room that can be used for 2 standard sized bicycles. 🩴 The hot tub comfortably accommodates 2 people and is always heated and ready for when you arrive. The views from the hot tub by day are breathtaking and by night a glance up on a clear night the stars fill the sky above creating the most romantic setting. Bath robes and extra towels are provided. Guest access The cottage and garden is fully secure and self contained giving you ample privacy. Parking for one vehicle is private and next to the road. Other things to note RELAX in our New Hot Tub, available all year round. Guests can relax and take in the views during the day or star gaze at night. We welcome any guests bringing their dog/pet, but we do limit this to one four-legged friend (unless agreed prior to your visit) and a charge of £20 per pet is payable on arrival if you have not already added them to your booking. We prefer you not to leave your pet unattended in the cottage, however is you must please ensure they are in a crate. Please refer to the house manual for doggy does and don’ts. Please help us maintain the property to a high standard for all our guests !! By letting us know on your departure, of any breakages/damage that may have occurred during your stay.
