The apartment is entirely private, arranged on one level, and accessed through its own separate entrance. Please note that Zen Den is a lower-level apartment. This means natural light is more limited than in an above-ground home, and ceiling height is lower in some areas, particularly parts of the living room and hallway. Guests over approximately 180 cm may find some sections less comfortable. Dehumidifiers are used to help maintain a comfortable indoor climate. Sleeping arrangements Bedroom 1 has one king-size bed and one single bed. Bedroom 2 has one king-size bed, storage, and a desk area. The living room includes one sofa bed for additional guests. This setup works especially well for families and small groups who want separate sleeping areas and a practical base for several nights or longer. Kitchen and dining The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking and extended stays, with full-sized appliances, cookware, and storage. The dining table works well for shared meals, remote work, or planning the day. Location Zen Den is set in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood with convenient access to parks, grocery stores, public transport, and the wider Malmö area. It works well as a calm base for exploring Malmö, Lund, and Copenhagen. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire lower-level apartment, including two bedrooms, a cosy living room, a modern bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The front garden is a shared space with seating and a BBQ area. The back garden is private and reserved for family use only. Free on-street parking is available directly outside the property. Other things to note On-street parking is available free of charge for guests. We kindly ask all guests to observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 7 AM to respect our neighbours. As a lower-ground retreat, the ceilings in parts of the apartment, including the living room, are lower than average, which may not be ideal for guests over 6 feet tall. The cosy and charming atmosphere, however, more than makes up for it. Please take care when navigating these areas to avoid bumps. There are stairs leading to the property, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. We kindly request guests to follow Malmö’s recycling guidelines. Bins for food waste, plastics, paper, and general waste are provided, and we appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a sustainable environment. The front garden is a shared space, and we ask guests to use only the designated areas, including the tree bench and seating near the BBQ. The back garden is reserved for family use. Dehumidifiers are provided to ensure a comfortable atmosphere during your stay. We recommend keeping them running in humid weather. We ask guests to turn off lights and adjust heating when leaving the apartment to help conserve energy. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be accommodated with prior arrangements, subject to availability. Pets are not allowed in the property to ensure cleanliness and comfort for all guests. In accordance with Swedish law, the lead guest must provide a valid government-issued ID prior to arrival.
