This unit is owned by an artist couple who split their time between Tucson, AZ and Chicago. This is their personal unit when they're in Chicago. Come stay here to get away, be comfortable, relax, and be inspired. The space This apartment is the top floor unit of a 2 unit building (up 1 flight of stairs). The space is an open floor plan, loft style apartment with 2 private bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a bath tub / shower. *Bedroom 2 is an attic bedroom and is located up a short flights of stairs from the rest of the apartment. The whole apartment is professionally cleaned after every guest no matter how many days they have stayed. Freshly cleaned sheets and towels are provided for all guests as well. We take the cleanliness of our apartment and the comfort of our guests very seriously! Specs: - 950 Sq Ft. - Located 2 miles South West of Downtown Chicago - Extremely close to South Loop / West Loop - Free parking spot located behind the building - Washer/Dryer (in the basement and it is free) - Large open floor plan kitchen with gas stove and dishwasher - Butcher Block counter tops - Stainless Steel appliances - Central Heat - Window A/C units in both bedrooms (typically installed mid May - October, depending on weather) - Back yard with seating - Private back porch - Lots of closet space - High speed wireless Internet - Smart TV for streaming Netflix, etc. Guest access You will have the top level unit of a two unit building all to yourself. Rental includes one free parking spot behind the building; access to backyard, which has lawn furniture and a fire pit. Check in time is 4:00PM, and check out is 11:00am. These times can sometimes be flexible depending on the arrival of other guests. If you need an earlier/later check out or check in, just ask. We'll accommodate if we can. Other things to note No central AC. Window A/C units and fans in both bedrooms and in main living area. We typically install the AC's around mid May, and take them out around early October, depending on weather.
