Welcome to The Vintage Charm! This downstairs apartment is 2 beds & 1 bath of Vintage Charm & Cozy Warmth. The walls are plaster, the ceilings are high, the floors are mostly original oak & it speaks to comfort, warmth & the charm of gracious living from the Victorian Era! Please note that new window AC units are in place for cooling & there is a furnace for heat. Entry is via an enclosed front porch. *Artemis is my basement kitty, she's friendly-ish so be respectful * Vintage Charm is 3 Blocks away from Downtown St Charles & The Riverwalk along the scenic Fox River. It's only a few minutes pleasurable walk to many wonderful restaurants, Including Zaza's Trattoria, Gia Mia, McNally's Pub, Arcedium Coffee, Kimmer's Ice Cream, The Arcada Theater, The Historic Baker Hotel & The Blue Goose Grocer ( currently CLOSED after 90 years in St Charles😥- we're supposed to have Whole Foods take over!) This location is also close to the Illinois Street Bridge & the Piano Factory Bridge over the beautiful Fox River so scenery is everywhere. Nearby Parks also accessible by walking are Pottatwotamie Park, Lincoln Park across from St Patrick's Catholic Church, and Mt. St Mary's park. The whole downstairs apartment is ready for guests! I am available via messaging in the Airbnb app. I am a traveling RN and may not always be on the property, and usually am there a couple days each week. If I am at work when you message me, please be patient because I do spend a lot of time with the elderly, sick & needy people so it may take a bit for me to message back. Most of the time I can answer pretty quickly & on my days off if there are any problems I may just knock on the front door instead😊 The neighborhood is mostly residential with families & dogs. There are several 2 flats in the neighborhood with long-time tenants and it's a quiet & safe neighborhood. This location is great if you want to be a very short walk from Downtown St Charles & the Fox River! It's also great if you like to bike because the Riverwalk is great for bicyclists as well😊 Parking is in the driveway - please pull up to just before the first set of basement glassblock windows and that will allow easiest entry & exit for both guests & host.
