Located at the tip of the Blue Hill Peninsula, Brooklin, Maine offers a quiet retreat a bit over an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. A one-minute walk from The Maine Hideaway's doorstep brings you into the historic village of Brooklin, Maine and a close walk to Wooden Boat School. Our home was built in 1874, we have multiple guest rooms, all with incredibly comfortable mattresses and modern furnishings. We serve a continental breakfast Tue-Sat and hot breakfast on Sun & Mon. The space This tranquil sky blue room is the perfect for two travelers with one full sized bed and one twin XL bed. Dinghy has a little bistro table and a comfy chair, perfect for reading. Upon arrival, you will enter through the front door. On the first floor is a coffee, tea, breakfast station with a guest fridge, microwave, plates, bowls, cups, etc. The location of your room will be on a note at the door, or we will show you. The front porch has lovely seating options to enjoy all that Maine has to offer. On Tuesdays through Saturdays, we will provide a continental breakfast of coffee, tea, juice, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, protein bars, etc. On Sundays and Mondays, we will provide a full hot breakfast. With advance notice, we can accommodate dietary requests, such as gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian. During your stay We will give you instructions to access your room either in writing or in person. We are giving all guests space and we will engage as frequently as needed.
