Mare Amore @ Riomaggiore was born from a dream, mine - Arianna - and Stefano's, to share the beauty of this unique village carved into the rock, narrow in a deep steep gorge to the sea. Forget the convenience of a car and lift for a few days: only in this way you can truly taste the flavor of Cinque Terre. Our apartment has been renovated with the attention that only an engineer and a surveyor can pay, respecting tradition and enhancing the ancient characteristics. It is located in a stone building that can only be reached by walking up a narrow alley that overlooks the main street full of bars, restaurants and shops. Just climbing a few steps (hey you're coming on holiday to Cinque Terre ... you have to expect them!) and the magic of ancient times will be renewed: imagine the farmers who, for centuries, have carried up and down these stairs baskets full of grapes, relying only the strength of their arms. We wish you a pleasant stay in Riomaggiore and thank you for making our dream true! Guest access We are in Riomaggiore, the first village of Cinque Terre if you come from La Spezia. Arriving by car is not recommended. Please consider that Riomaggiore is a very small village closed to the traffic. Only (very few) paid parking lots are located at the entrance of the village. Their price is 35 euros a day and you can not book them in advance. We suggest you to leave your car in La Spezia from where you will arrive to Riomaggiore in only 10 minutes by train. Parking in La Spezia also means avoiding long queues on the coastal road, especially in high season. Other things to note Please note that check in is possible from 10am to 8pm. The time of arrival must necessarily be agree the day before your stay (we will contact you) based on our availability and further arrivals at our facility. We inform you that the accommodation may not be ready before 1pm due to cleaning, but you can possibly leave your luggage at the reception waiting for everything to be tidy and clean for you. For arrivals after 8 pm it is possible to book a paid late check-in service, but only based on the availability of the staff. Check-out is before 10am and it will be done in self check outm ode.
