There are 2 great houses on our large fenced compound. For the past 15 years, my family of four have lived in the main house, and in 2017 we opened up our separate Bungalow exclusively to spiritually conscious guests. We are very eco-friendly and environmentally conscious. Your entirely separate Bungalow is a large, bohemian style, single level, open plan home. Your cush king bed, queen sofa bed and kitchenette are all in one huge room, without any walls. Your Bungalow easily sleeps 4 people. BATH AND SHOWER There is a NEW en-suite 1/2 bath which has the commode and vanity/sink. This was upgraded in May 2024 to an en-suite 1/2 bathroom. Just outside the Bungalow, you have: >separate large private shower room with vanity/sink Your large separate private shower room has a stand up shower with a large skylight and a vanity/sink 2 steps outside the Bungalow’s double french doors. The shower room is completely separate from the 1/2 bathroom. You will have the en-suite 1/2 bathroom, shower room and Bungalow all to yourself. Past guests have raved about the naturally divine, skylight shower experience. We do NOT share: the en-suite 1/2 bathroom, shower room, or the Bungalow. We live in a separate house on the property. WIFI and TECHNOLOGY Your Bungalow has a large 55 inch flat screen Hitachi TV and of course strong WIFI. The following apps are activated, free for you and do not require a login: HBO MAX, Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, ABC, TBS, A&E, CW, Peacock, WSJ, PBS, PBS kids, Tubi, Crackle, Pandora, YouTube, Vevo, Plutotv. It is an advanced Roku TV and has access to many other channels as well, some of which require payment to activate. You also have access to G Chromecast to mirror the screen from your devices. We have a separate amplifier and speakers for you to plug your phone into and stream music. OUTSIDE LIVING Your Bungalow is designed to take advantage of San Diego’s awesome year-round beach weather. There is a courtyard just out the double french doors, with a table for four next to the cherry blossom tree. You are welcome to indulge on any of the organic fruit growing in the compound including seasonal kumquats, grapes, oranges, lemons, persimmons, peaches and figs. Your large yard is set up with an outside dining table and stainless steel propane BBQ grill with separate burner. There are several triangle shaped overhead canopies / sails hanging over the yard for shade. It's great for entertaining both day and night. Enjoy the yard by playing the corn hole bean bag toss game. COOKING We have a small size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, blender, an electric one burner hot plate, toaster, plates, bowls, glasses, pots, pans, grill utensils, silverware, full set of knives, cutting boards, coffee maker, tea kettle, cooking utensils paper towels, dish soap, sponge dish towels, garbage bags and lots of kitchen gadgets EXTRA AMENITIES You have access to complimentary teas, coffee and all the premium filtered water you can drink. We have included complimentary use of a fun tandem bike, bike helmets, surf boards, Boogie boards, beach towels and yoga mats. We’ve got an assortment of beach toys for the kids. LOCATION You are in the prime spot! You can easily walk to the beach and pier. You are located just 4 blocks from the beach and 9 blocks from the bay. Take a ride on your complimentary free tandem bike. We have included 2 helmets and a secure U-lock for you to cruise the boardwalk and easily get around to all of the nearby restaurants and shops. There are several electric scooter companies servicing your immediate area which can be easily and inexpensively rented from your smart phone. You’ll be staying a block away from a wide range of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. You are walking distance from nearly everything including Trader Joe's & Sprouts grocery stores. Upon Check-in we can give you an insider’s guide to great massage therapists, healers, shopping, surf spots, kayaking, paddle boarding and/or a romantic date ideas like a bay cruise at the Catamaran hotel. HOT SOAKING TUB There’s a Solar Heated Hot Tub (low chemical) available every day until 10pm. The hot tub is clothing optional. The hot tub is solar powered and is a soaking tub. There are no jets or bubbles. We give you your complete privacy unless you need anything. No parties please. SAUNA Relax and enjoy our new round 6 person made out of Canadian red cedar. We outfitted it with a deluxe Scandinavian HUUM wood fired sauna stove. Enjoy the hypnotic aroma, tranquil exhales, and calming sensations while in our sauna. We have installed a wood fired stove to be extra eco-friendly. OUR PHILOSOPHY Finding like-minded guests and having the right fit is important to us. We like hosting because we want other to share our Pacific Beach vibe and experiences with you. We go far beyond what any hotel can ever offer. As a Super-host with over 200+ positive reviews and an average 5 star rating— you are in good hands. We have been hosting select spiritually minded people in our Bungalow for several years now. Just recently we started to remodel the back yard, some of the online reviews may mention our treehouse and dome house. We just trimmed all of our trees and removed both the treehouse and dome house. You are very important to us. This is experience is not for everyone. We want to make sure you are a good fit. Think meditation-- not party house. No beer pong. No loud music. No parties. No extra guests. No smoking. No pets. PETS Please leave your pets at home. We do not allow any of your pets on the property. We do have a super affectionate Tonkinese cat who lives in the main house and patrols the property. Please do not allow the cat in the Bungalow. We do not allow pets of any kind including our cat inside your Bungalow. Even though we do not allow animals inside the living spaces, if you are allergic to animals, we suggest you find a different location. We cannot guarantee that the property is completely fur free. SUPER CLEAN This is a non-smoking property. We do not use any toxic chemicals on the property. We are very health conscious. We use very friendly all natural cleaners and insect repellants. We have excellent procedures in place for your safety. Our cleaning company uses EPA approved hospital-grade disinfectants for all our turnovers. As always, all beds linens are sanitized and replaced every turnover and they are taking new measures to disinfect door knobs, light switches, hard-backed chairs, handles and remotes every cleaning. Other things to note Service Animal Notice: We regret to inform our guests that we are currently unable to accommodate any dogs, including service animals, at our property. This policy is in place due to severe allergies of an on-site resident, which extend to all types of dogs, even those considered hypoallergenic.
