This room suits 1 adult MAX (1 other room is available). For people working daytime, on a regular schedule outside of the house - no remote work. NO ANIMALS, SMOKING, VAPING, or any other addiction. THE OWNER LIVES AND WORKS ON THE PREMISES This is not a "housematehood" rental but a "cohousing" arrangement. It is NOT a "hotel with services" either. You will share this spacious house nested is nature in a semi-agricultural environment with the owner and possibly with 1 or 2 other person. The space A beautiful room (11'X13') with double bed, an armchair and a small work table is ready to welcome you on the 2nd floor of a traditional style house with many rooms. A large modern bathroom serves the 2nd floor. You will share it with the owner and the worker in the other room if the other room is also rented. Guest access Guests have access to the common areas of this open-plan house, including the fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor. However, you can enjoy a small additional living room adjacent to the bedrooms on the first floor. In summer, a 24-foot above-ground pool allows you to cool off, and in winter the orchards and maple grove of the neighbors behind our gardens offer opportunities for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing (if you bring your equipment). During your stay Your hostess, biologist and artisan-herbalist, offers on-site consultations and workshops and a range of herbal products (from herbal tea to mother tincture to infused medicinal oils). If you feel like it, you can familiarize yourself with traditional herbalism, take a guided tour of the gardens ($25), participate in a workshop and sometimes participate in the work in the gardens in summer and in the processing in winter.
