Wide lawn w/ beautiful lake views. The space Bay View Suite is at historic Sunset Lodge of Omena. On 1st floor of 1890s guest house, on grounds overlooking Lake Michigan in heart of Leelanau Peninsula. Private exterior entrance with keypad lock for self-check-in. Bedroom has King bed & sitting area. Living room has fireplace, bar sink/kitchenette and dining table. Bath has stall shower. There is a front porch which extends from the living room to the bedroom, with view of Omena Bay. A/C and heat, ceiling fans. Many large windows for fresh air & sunshine. High 10' ceilings, original hardwood floors. The bar sink has minifridge, microwave, water kettle, toaster-oven & coffee maker supplied with coffee & tea. Dishes & glassware provided. Small dining table, sitting area in front of fireplace (gas). No in-room housekeeping for stays under 7 days. Extra towels & blankets provided. Trash & recycling receptacles nearby - please recycle, and dispose of trash as needed. The village of Omena and Sunset Lodge are listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Guest access All guests welcome to enjoy outdoor common areas with patio and pickleball court. Wide lawn with Adirondack chairs and fire pits overlooking Lake Michigan's Omena Bay. Other things to note This guesthouse has a 2nd floor suite, "Leelanau Suite", upstairs from Bay View Suite. Those guests use a different door to enter the house. Sunset Lodge does not permit smoking anywhere within 150' of buildings and never in common areas. No flames of any kind are permitted in rooms. Quiet Hours after 10 pm (refrain from loud conversations, loud TV).
