Orchid Lodge is a private residence and boutique bed & breakfast consisting of 6 private houses. Daily homemade breakfast is provided. Located on a hill away from the main road and surrounded by lush nature and greenery, the lodge is the ideal place for quiet rest and relaxation. You will feel calm, peaceful, and at ease during your visit. The property is not suitable for guests under age 12. The popular Lamai beach and tourist-friendly walking street are a short motorbike or car ride away. Thoughtfully curated, the Coco Palm lodge provides a cozy and comfortable ambiance that makes you feel like you are at a home away from home. Named for the stunning coconut palms that create the backdrop for the property, this stylish two-bedroom lodge is perfect for friends or family traveling together. There is a sliding wooden door separating the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own modern ensuite bathroom, exterior entrance, and individual terrace, allowing for ample privacy within a shared lodge. If traveling with a larger group, this house is conveniently located next to the Pink Lotus lodge (house #5). Guests of the Orchid Lodge have access to a shared pool and large covered patio terrace attached to the main villa, where the daily breakfast is prepared and served. The Orchid Lodge has also opened an on-site private spa for guests to book massages, nail services, and other body treatments. My staff and I are available throughout your stay to answer any questions, to assist with any requests, and to troubleshoot any problems that may arise. We are here to help and to support you as needed so that you can have a smooth and stress-free holiday at the Orchid Lodge Samui. I also really enjoy having conversations with my guests around the breakfast table or while sitting by the pool, and I am happy to interact with my guests as much or as little as they desire. I give my guests plenty of space and privacy based on their personal preferences. The Orchid Lodge is tucked away on a hill in a private residential area just south of Lamai, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, and there is no outside street traffic, allowing the property to remain private, but with access to the main road at the bottom of the hill. While it is possible to walk up and down the hill, we strongly recommend using some sort of vehicle for getting around, as the hill is quite steep in certain parts and it can be a challenging walk. We are happy to arrange a scooter, car rental, taxi, or private driver for you at any point during your visit, and we have plenty of free parking on the property. At the bottom of the hill there is a full-service laundry shop, as well as a self-service laundromat, if you would like to wash your clothes during your stay. There is also a Family Mart convenience store at the bottom of the hill where you can pick up anything you may need during your trip. We are close to the Hua Thanon area, where there are several cute cafes and restaurants located right next to the water, and there is a small daily local market where you can pick up local fruits and snacks. We highly recommend using a vehicle to get around the island. We are happy to arrange a scooter or car rental, taxi, or private driver at any point during your visit. Just let us know your needs and we can help to coordinate your preferred mode of transportation. We also have an in-house private driver/local Thai tour guide who can be booked for excursions or tours around the island. There is free parking available on-site for guests. We are an eco-friendly and eco-conscious property that strives to minimize our imprint on the environment. Housekeeping and room freshening is provided daily, but to conserve water and electricity, we only change bedsheets and towels upon guest request. We are also very conscious about our trash output, so we collect plastic, aluminum, and glass for recycling, and guests are encouraged to put their empty and clean recyclable materials in the yellow marked bins. The island of Koh Samui, as well as much of Thailand, has a big problem with excess plastic usage and production. In an effort to minimize plastic consumption and waste, we provide drinking water in glass bottles, which are replenished daily. We also have a water dispenser on the pool patio, which you can use to refill your water bottles. Our entire property has been newly renovated and we completed the finishing touches in July 2023. We have updated and upgraded the rooms to make them more comfortable and cozy for our guests. Each house has been thoughtfully designed with its own theme and colors, inspired by the tropical flowers of Thailand. The Orchid Lodge strives to be your home away from home during your visit to the island of Koh Samui. Our small property has a tranquil, intimate and friendly feel, and my staff and I are available to answer any questions, assist with any special requests, and troubleshoot any problems. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the serene and calm nature of this property, our emphasis on peaceful rest and relaxation for our guests, and the lack of childproofing around the property, the lodge is not particularly well suited for families with young kids.
