'Santosha' (sleeps 2 ) is in close proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches. Marazion is a 3 minute drive away. St Ives only 20 minute drive. The space is clean, contemporary, light and airy. Note : During the peak season June - September we only take bookings for 6 nights plus, unless there is a shorter gap between bookings, then we are happy to take shorter bookings. We allow by prior agreement 1 (sm) well behaved dog. The space Santosha is a stylish piedaterre for couples wishing to be within close proximity to a stunning coastline. Characterised by a look that is cheerful, light and airy; the pristine white decor and pale blonde wood finishes punctuated with splashes of bold primary colours create a contemporary and refreshing atmosphere. Situated in a quiet residential area in the village of Perran Downs, at Cornwall's narrowest point which is a stretch of just 6 miles, a five minute drive is all that distances guests from the south coast and the white sandy beaches at Perranuthnoe, Praa Sands and Marazion while a 20 minute drive will reveal the contrasts of the dramatic north coast. A central location for touring the far west and visiting the landmark attractions of St Michaels Mount, Land's End and The Minack Theatre and a convenient location for coastal and countryside pursuits with a 9 hole coastal golf course, surf school and scenic coastal footpath within close reach. The ancient market town of Penzance is 4 miles away and never short of interest with its bustling harbour, shops of all kinds, art galleries, fine restaurants and ornamental gardens. The uncluttered open plan interior is generously proportioned for two and there is the added benefit of a sheltered garden with patio furniture. The living room is comfortably arranged with a kitchen/dining area whilst upstairs is a lovely bedroom set into the eaves which can be presented as a double with a king size bed or a twin, by prior request. Semi-detached to the owners' residence yet not overlooked, once inside it is private and an ideal winter retreat with full gas central heating. A popular pub serving delicious homemade food and locally brewed ales and a convenience store are within a 10 minute walk and there is off road parking for one car. Guest access Guests have access to parking and the whole separate house with their own facilities. Other things to note During the peak weeks, so from July through until September, we tend to only rent Santosha out for a minimum of 6 nights. Also, Santosha is a self catering apartment, so we don't provide breakfast. We do allow for a well behaved small dog (so just the one!) during the off peak weeks(Oct-May).
