The apartment is built in the historical and maritime style of Sanremo and is therefore characterized by vaulted ceilings. Other things to note The apartment is located in one of the historic buildings of Sanremo that preserves the memory of a stay of Giuseppe Garibaldi on his return from exile in the city in 1848. At the entrance of the building there is a marble plaque that reads "from this house Giuseppe Garibaldi on September 22, 1848 comforted the people not to despair in the fate of Italy". TOURIST TAX With resolution C.C. no. of the Municipality of Sanremo established the tourist tax as of June 1, 2019 and subsequently amended with Municipal Council Resolution no. 56 of 03/18/2020, with effect from October 1, 2020. The tax is applied all year round and is due from anyone who stays overnight and is not a resident of the Municipality of Sanremo. The tax rate for this accommodation is €1.5 per person per night, according to the rates approved by the Municipality of Sanremo.
