Description
The cottage is ideal for singles, couples or families with one child, and furry friends (pets) are welcome. The cottage, built in the 1880's, is the last of six used during the construction of the railway. It is a stand alone building separate to the main house. The space Throughout its life the cottage has undergone many transformations. Today it is a quiet and warm retreat with its own shower and toilet installed. There is a fridge and microwave plus other basic kitchen utensils but no cooking facilities other than the BBQ. A TV with FreeView access (sorry no SKY) is in the cottage. Guest access You will have full access to the gardens and pool. There is always a shady spot under a tree somewhere to rest and relax. There is also the 12m pool for you to use if you wish. A barbecue is also available. Other things to note You are welcome to bring your dog/s with you at no extra charge. We do require that they are secured overnight (either in the cottage or a crate in a vehicle) and that you please bring their bedding with you. Please ensure that vaccinations are up to date. Off street parking is available. Please note that the day bed in the cottage is suitable for a child under 12 to sleep in due to its size.
