Peaceful and beautiful accommodation in the bush

Nestled in the bush this peaceful beauty will let all your stresses melt away. Take a stroll through the bush or have a few bevies by the barbecue whilst cooking tea. You may even spot a roo or hear a koala. The bird life is great. Cereal, milk, bread and spreads are supplied. Please note we have animals on the property. Cat, horse, chooks, roosters. This is their home also. The shack utilises rain water. 🌳 Forest Therapy Walks are on offer. Please see ‘other details’ section. The space Our back yard is large and backs onto the bush. The shack has its own private deck out the back plus it has a front verandah. Also out the back is a private bush fire place where you can sit in peace. Your welcome to have a stroll around our garden. Our house is also on the property which is roughly 20mts away. Guest access Feel free to light the little fire and sit around it! (NOT ON TOTAL FIRE BAN DAYS) We have marshmallows if you’d like to toast them. Just use common sense and no being silly around the fire. Please ask us first about lighting a fire so we are aware and for safety reasons Other things to note 🌳 Jess is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide. Forest Therapy is a slow walk with sensory and creative activities along the way. There are psychological and physiological health benefits when you go on a forest therapy walk. It’s great for de-stressing and relaxing. $50 per person, if interested please reach out. There is no curtain in the bathroom. If this makes you uncomfortable let us know and we can put one up. It is a beautiful view when showering however. If you leave the door open, flies and bugs will go into the shack. That is part of living in the bush and there is nothing we can do about it other than keep doors closed. There is NO wifi at this listing and service is minimal for making phone calls. There is a kitchenette with a microwave, kettle,toaster and fridge but there is NO OVEN or STOVE. There is a small BBQ outside for cooking on. Please don’t book if you don’t like roosters crowing.
