The Space: Our A-Frame Mountain home is located in a treed, quiet mountain community less than a mile from Rocky Mountain National Park. The Grand Lake Golf Course and Nordic Center is walkable from the house and the historic town of Grand Lake is a 5 minute drive. Every possible outdoor activity is within minutes of our superb location, offering quiet solitude or adventure. Wildlife such as moose, fox, deer and elk abound often right outside your door. THE SPACE: Our home was recently renovated with brand new furnishings, new kitchen supplies, new linens, Smart TV and sound bar. There is an updated kitchen, wood burning stove, full bathroom, 2 bedrooms and large sleeping loft. Two decks are on either side of the A-frame. GUEST ACCESS: You will have complete access to all living areas - it's your place to enjoy! OTHER THINGS OF NOTE: Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake in our neighborhood. ** Our home is not suitable for babies/toddlers- there is a steep staircase leading to loft sleeping area. and stairs off the back deck. ** This is a smoke free property! This means no smoking or vaping inside the house or on the decks or property. ** No Parties or excessive noise. This is our family home, not a place to have a party. It is our second home, not just a rental we don't care about - we've had damage in the past, and that isn't fun for either side after the fact! **Strict No Pet Policy** We have a strict no pet policy. We ask that you respect this policy and appreciate you not asking us to make an exception for you. This is a quality home with excellent furnishings and amenities, so we are looking for families that will treat it as their own. Can snowmobile right from house directly to trails or downtown! -Grand Lake often gets large amounts of snow during the winter, so you may need to shovel an entry way to the front door. -In the winter you must have a car with all wheel or 4 wheel drive. -There is a home under construction on our street and there may be periodic construction during the week. -Columbine Lake is a private, covenant-controlled community. Renters are not allowed to use the clubhouse, gazebo, horse pasture, OHVs or Columbine Lake. Parking is not allowed on any Columbine Lake road or Community Property.
