Light and modern sea view apartment in Porthallow

Kevran is a light and modern apartment beside the sea. It boasts impressive sea views and a patio on which you can enjoy them. A break here will shelter you from the stress of a busy life and allow you to unwind in a small and sleepy traditional fishing village. As you will be located on the half way point of the South-West coast path many glorious beaches and coves are within touching distance. An ideal getaway for couples and families. Please note there are 3 flights of steps down to it! The space 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, lounge, folding doors allowing access to decking/patio area. It will sleep 5 guests if it has to, but this would be a tight squeeze over a longer stay! It has sea/wooded valley views. Enjoy the warmth of the Lizard Peninsula which has the highest average temperature in the UK mainland. Kevran is a cosy and modern apartment set into the hillside of the quaint and traditional Porthallow fishing village, which is located at the midway point of the South West Coast path (there is a stone marker on the pebble beach that shows the exact midway point.) Whilst on the beach you can take in the spectacular views of Falmouth Bay and the Roseland Peninsula. You are also just a couple of miles as the crow flys from the stunning Helford river area. The apartment is situated within a block of 6 purpose built apartments. If you are looking at the building, it is the bottom left. It benefits from lovely sea views, with use of a shared garden to the right. Porthallows local pub, The Five Pilchards inn, is a short walk away from the apartment, however it is sadly closed at present. On entering the apartment there is a light and airy entrance porch which is a handy place to kick off you shoes and hang your coats before stepping into the living room which has seating for four people on the comfy L-shaped sofa. There is also a wooden egg chair with shaped cushion. There is a large 11ft x 6ft set of folding doors in the living room which perfectly frame the wooded valley and sea views to the left looking across the bay. The kitchen is a fresh take on a quirky seaside cottage. There is a small table which expands to seat four. It has two standard chairs with one folding chair and the white larger wicker chair in the corner of the kitchen. To the outside there is a raised decking with a granite top table and bench style seating either side. There is also a hanging egg chair which is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. Sit at the granite table, have a bite to eat and a chat on those glorious summer nights. The views from the decking are exceptional, of the wooded valley, the sea, Porthallow Cove, Falmouth Bay and beyond. To the right of the decking is a communal grassed area with picnic tables. You will have your own private parking space titled Kevran. Be careful on your way down as there are 3 flights of steps totalling 40 steps. It is advised that you take care. This means the apartment is not recommended for those with mobility issues. You will have access to a communal coin operated laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. Be sure to bring coins! Specific room details: Living room (2.4mx5m) - The lounge has seating for 4 on an L shaped sofa. There is a wooden egg chair on a swivel base with shaped cushion. There is freeview television on a wall hanging arm and a DVD player. We have a selection of books that can help you unwind. There are USB charging ports at the sockets as well. THERE IS NO INTERNET. Our escape is designed to give you a break from the outside world. EE WIFI is available in the are, pay as you go. It can be poor for connection strength. There is mobile signal in the area which will allow for 3g and 4g. Kitchen/Dining area (2.1mx3.2m) - The kitchen has a rustic feel. There is a small fridge freezer, an under sink hot water heater, a toaster, kettle, and 4 hobbed electric oven with grill and metallic extractor cooker hood. There is a small dining table for two, which expands to seat 4 with two spare chairs. Saucepans and frying pans provided. There are most utensils you can think of. Maybe if you are a Michelin star chef you may want more so let me know if that's the case! Sleeping Accommodation - Main bedroom (2.4mx2.8m): Double bed with Relyon mattress, floating oak bedside shelf with touch lamp, USB plugs, a charming naturalistic wooden mirror, narrow wardrobe with hangers for clothes storage. Well sized window allowing good natural light. Bedroom 2 (2.1mx3m): Double single bunk bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and mirror. PLEASE ENSURE THAT ONLY CHILDREN OR PEOPLE UNDER 8 STONE SLEEP ON THE TOP BUNK (Manufacturers recommendation and our own safety recommendation. No responsibility will be accepted on my part if you break the bed and or injure yourself. This rule must be followed). Bathroom: A good sized walk in shower enclosure with an electric shower, heated towel radiator and a mirror above the sink with touch light and de-misting features. Toilet. Utility Room: Outside communal coin operated laundry room. Cleaning/Towels/Linen/ Bed linen and towels provided. Apartment cleaned at change over or otherwise weekly. More bedding can be dropped in if required. Changeover day: Flexible according to your requirements. Amenities/Facilities: 1 private parking space. Fridge, Hob/Stove, Microwave, Oven, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, Iron, TV with Freeview, DVD player. Location Type: Relaxed cove with one friendly pub and beach. Accessibility: Please bear in mind the 3 flights of 40 steps. This will be difficult if you have mobility issues. Guest access Please note that the flat is down 3 flights of steps, 40 in total. This means it may be unsuitable for people with mobility issues. Other things to note You will be situated remotely in Porthallow so please ensure this is suitable for you. The closest store is a 1.5 mile drive.
