Complete with built in mosquito nets, lighting, garden furniture & storage. You can make use of both the house and outdoor kitchen, lounge in shady spots and take a cool dip in the plunge pool. The space Set in a beautiful valley with a great view, it's a perfect place to wind down and enjoy the stunning scenery and nature of central Portugal. Close to the Rio Zêzere and its river beaches and tranquil lakes, we offer a unique location to explore this calm and relatively undiscovered area. It's a great place for families, groups or solo travellers to relax and unwind. You can pick fruit from our trees, harvest from our kitchen garden and sleep in comfort after a day relaxing, exploring or visiting the historic and beautiful towns in the area. Table tennis, kayaking, cycling and many other facilities are on offer as well as in depth knowledge of hidden gems along the Rio Zêzere. Guest access Guests have private access and use of all spaces. Locally, there are stunning swimming spots, mountain walks or cycle routes (if you feel energetic!), this area of Portugal is a fabulous addition to the coast and well-known tourist trail. The calm and tranquil Rio Zêzere and its unique natural environment is a hidden gem. Only a few hours drive from both Lisbon and Porto, and an hour from the beautiful beaches of the Silver coast and Figueira da Foz, the list of options is endless. We can arrange trips or simply point you in the right direction for your own adventures. Other things to note We have developed this place in the spirit of green living using the principles of permaculture to create a natural environment with minimal impact on the local ecosystem. Water comes from a well on the land, our fruit trees and kitchen garden provide as much produce as possible and the surrounding nature help to bring a sense of tranquility and calm to your stay. We provide 'green' shower gels and cleaning products. Please do not use any products that are not biodegradable. Keep in mind that this guesthouse has several bedrooms and tents, so we share the facilities with each other.
