Donskit Guesthouse is an eclectic mix of traditional Ladakhi and Western styles, filled with the love, laughter and warm food of the family that runs it. We offer a cozy room to travelers, families, friends or couples along with breakfast! It is a few minutes drive away from the main attractions of the city, such as the Main Market, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Your host also has a car that can pick up and drop you off to the airport at a nominal fee. OUR WHOLE FAMILY IS VACCINATED The space The guesthouse has a separate building for guests, where guests can rest without any interruption. With a comfortable attached bathroom, solar heated water, a television and an extremely comfortable bed, Donskit Guesthouse aims to be your home away from home in the beautiful city of Leh. The plot is filled with homegrown flowers and plants, which is quite striking with the Ladakh deserts. Breakfast and dinner are served in a traditional Ladakhi living room, and tea is free flowing at all times! A mere ten minute walk away from the market, a five minute drive from Shanti Stupa and fifteen minute drive away from the airport, Donskit Guesthouse is conveniently located to be close enough to the action but far enough that you can enjoy your peace and quiet! The guesthouse also boasts of an organic farm that grows and stores all natural vegetables and allows you to try your hand at farming, if you please. There are two friendly stray dogs that come to visit from time to time, feel free to extend a hand of friendship, we're sure they'll raise their paw to you. Guest access The washing machine will be available to the guests and there is ample space for parking. There is also a terrace that allows guests to view the beauty and brilliance of the stars on a clear, beautiful night.
