The gallery wall houses family heirlooms and local culture. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by trees. This first floor property has a living room, kitchen, dining room, utility room, study, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 4 huge balconies. The bunk bed is a new addition and was a childhood dream. Fun for children and sturdy enough to sleep an adult. The Balcony Sit Out has a Jhoola or a swing and enough space to practice yoga. There is an extra room with washroom for a driver with a small fee of 500/- per day. Comfort and leisure is the focus here. Though in a very serene location it is very close to the good eateries, and has home delivery facilities of local cuisine. We provide complimentary breakfast and milk between 7 and 9 AM. Authentic Mangalorean breakfast is delivered from a popular local eatery with different items on the menu everyday. Pantry is stocked with Biscuits, banana chips, savoury cashews, Benne Butter (a local snack), milk and Eggs on request. The home is just a 10 minute walk from the iconic Sultan Batthery watchtower built by Tippu Sultan. Beach Access You can take a ferry ride from Sultan Battery (2 minutes drive from the house) to Tannirbhavi beach which takes about 10 minutes and costs 15 Rs per person each way( available from 7am to 7pm) Alternatively, you can hit the beach by road, which is about 22 minutes drive from the property. Location The property is centrally located with easy access to Mangalore International Airport (13 kms), Mangalore Central Railway Station (5 kms), Mangalore Junction Railway Station (20 kms), and just 5 minutes drive from National Highway. You can find grocery stores, restaurants, bakery, ATM within a short walking distance. You can also buy fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, meat etc from Urva market, which is is just 5 mins walk away. Guest access The guests can use the main apartment on the first floor. Other things to note Regular check-in is 1 PM onwards. Guests need to clearly communicate check-in and checkout plans. Early check-in or late checkout can be accommodated for guests' convenience at a nominal cost, but subject to previous booking and checkout. For example, if you wish to do a 5 AM check-in, we can block the previous night on the calendar so that its a hassle free check-in. But it is subject to previous night being available and additional nominal payment being made for blocking an extra night.
