Bertha's Cabin in the great outdoors

"Bertha's Cabin" takes you back in time with cedar walls and maple floor even the original chimney from Grandma Bertha's day. At the same time, enjoy modern bathroom and kitchen amenities. A queen bed awaits; bring your own bedding and towels; upgrade available upon request. Step outside into the great outdoors to marked hiking trails and thousands of acres of Forest Service land. Invite friends and family to the nearby "Andrew Cabin" and the RV campsites at Sheyenne Oaks Campground. The space Bertha's Cabin is located on the northern edge of the Sheyenne National Grasslands. People love to visit this area for many reasons: bird watching, horseback riding, and hiking the North Country Scenic Trail. Guest access The entire cabin is for your use. Blankets and linens available as an upgrade. You must request this of your host. In addition to your personal bathroom, you can also use the shower house at the nearby Sheyenne Oaks campground. There you will also find coin-operated laundry, ice, firewood, souvenirs, and a large map of the national grasslands. You are a short walk away from the Zion Country Church and the Sheyenne River. Other things to note For a special evening meal away from your cabin, we suggest a short drive to McLeod, ND to the Silver Prairie Saloon. This is a quaint "2 horse town" with a rustic beauty.
