Darak Stay is an accommodation run by a young artist couple who use the space built by their architect father as a studio. Jin and Bok-sil are in charge. The workshop building and the guest building are separated, so guests can relax comfortably and pleasantly. Our accommodation is located at the upper reaches of the valley at the foot of Yeoninsan and Myeongjisan. Sangpan-ri, which means 'high duned village', is a mountain village away from the city center or restaurant area. It is a quiet village with many stars and fireflies, where cormorants and wild ducks come to the valley to play, drink water, and bathe. The guest building consists of only five rooms, so it is small, quiet and clean. It may be a bit boring for those who expect flashy surrounding facilities or a bustling atmosphere, but it will be a great place for those who want to get away from the dizzying city, listen to the sound of the valley and the sound of birds in nature, smell the scent of pine trees, and recharge their energy with their loved ones. Of course, if you respect our rules and space! The space • This is a second-floor room, and the maximum occupancy is 2 people. • Located at the foot of the mountain between Mt. Myeongji and Mt. Yeonin, famous for its spectacular scenery, the scenery is beautiful, and the promenade/mountain trail is a 10-minute drive away, making it easy to enjoy the atmosphere of nature. •The valley flows right next to it, and you can hear the beautiful sound of water. • The surroundings are not crowded, so you can enjoy the beauty, quiet, and relaxation. Guest access You can park in a spacious yard, and there are several outdoor barbecues where you can enjoy a barbecue in the mountains while listening to the sound of the valley. If you go down the stone stairs from the yard, you can enjoy the valley where the first-class water flows. The nearest and largest grocery stores are 'Hanaro Mart Gapyeong-gun Nonghyup Main Branch' and 'Plus Mart' in Hyun-ri. Other things to note • The maximum occupancy is 2 people. •There is no Wi-Fi. Please focus on the present and enjoy your time in nature. • Pets are not allowed. •Please do not make loud noises for the surrounding animals, plants, insects, and neighbors after 11pm. •Cooking food with a lot of smell, such as meat, fish, and seafood, is only allowed outdoors. (Barbecue charcoal set cost: 20,000 KRW for 2 people, 30,000 KRW for 3-4 people, on-site payment) Other food can be cooked indoors. ※ The barbecue is outdoors, so you can use it from December to March, but it is not recommended. •No smoking allowed in the room. Please enjoy smoking outdoors while feeling nature, and dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray only.
