Somercotes Annex

Situated a 20 minute walk from the centre of Keswick; this 5* holiday apartment has amazing panoramic views of the Keswick fells! Here, you can enjoy the beauty of the Lake District scenery with all the comforts of home with a fully kitted kitchen, TV, books, games and a selection of DVDs. Let us know if you are travelling with children and we can provide a travel cot, high chair, stair gate and toys. The space Downstairs consists of a living room/ kitchen/dining area with a log-burning fireplace. A cupboard off the living room houses a washing machine, microwave, iron (please ask if you would like the ironing board). You should find everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. We provide tea and coffee making facilities. The apartment is fully central heated but if you want that additional cosy feeling after a countryside walk, we provide a complimentary basket of fire wood for your first evening. Additional refills of fire wood can be purchased for £5 (as well as help with lighting the fire if you require it!) There are patio doors on to a decked area with panoramic views of the Keswick fells. Outdoor seating is provided (as pictured.) Downstairs there is also a bathroom with a bath and shower. Extra large towels and hand towels are provided. Upstairs there is a large family room consisting of a king-size bed, single wardrobe, drawers, TV and a double sofa bed. Should you wish to have the sofa bed set up for your stay, just let us know and we can do that for you! The stairs are open plan so if you are traveling with small children then we will set a stair gate up for you. The house has a separate front gate and entrance to the main house. There is ample parking out front. The front of the house has beautiful views of Skiddaw, the rear of the house has an outstanding view of the Coledale Horseshoe. Extra guests: The annexe has only one bedroom. However, this does include a king size bed and a double sofa bed. Ideally suitable for 2 adults and 2 children (if they don’t mind sharing a bed). We also have available a travel cot and high chair. Guest access The decking is accessed either via the patio doors or steps from the garden. The garden is a private area but guests are welcome to wander around. On occasion there may be people working in the garden. The following can be provided, at your request: travel cot, high chair, additional bedding for the sofa bed, children's toys. Other things to note Things to do: We provide our guests with a folder with lots of local information about local amenities and services as well as lots of leaflets with things to do and lovely walks. Early check in / Late check out: Check in is from 3pm. Check out is by 10am. Please ask at the time of booking if you would like early check in or late check out. We're happy to accommodate these requests wherever we can. Internet: We provide free wi-fi. Please remember that it is a shared network and not to access anything dodgy!
