On arrival, you will be shown your room, which is on the first floor. This is my best room, a well appointed double room with a full private en suite - shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Two air mattress can be placed next to the bed to accommodate an additional two guests for an extra 12 euros per person per night. This is a tight fit, but has proved very popular, especially with the young. There is tea making equipment in the room. The space We have three rooms available in the house, this is our best room and the only one with full en suite facilities. There are plenty of lovely walks through the French countryside from the house or a short drive away.. You are welcome to use the shared kitchen, patio, gardens, **swimming pool and the *pétanque pitch at the rear of the house (some well used boules and a cochonnet are available to borrow free of charge). Thank you for you cooperation and understanding. Guest access The saltwater swimming pool is free for all guests use in season (late May until September) but subject to availability. This just means that from time to time I have to carry out routine maintenance to keep the pool at its best. This sometimes involves closing the pool for a few hours (usually over night), while I do the work. During your stay I'm usually at home and also available by email. Other things to note With regard to the Coronavirus problem, I've decided to retard the booking-in period by an hour, this means instead of being able to book in at 11am, it will now be 12 noon, this is to allow extra time to deep clean your room so it's safe and spotless ready for your arrival. We have electric gates which are simple to operate and I will show you how when you arrive. The gates are locked from 22.00hrs untill 06.00, if you want to be out later, just let me know and I'll advance it by an hour, or more if you wish. New this year: for guests staying more than one day, you will be loaned a remote control for the gates. From October to May, a full size duel-heat electric under-blanket can fitted to the bed so you will be cosy warm throughout the winter, unless you request it not to be.
