Stylish, comfortable 2nd floor flat in traditional Victorian townhouse, in Edinburgh's leafy Abbeyhill area, owned by Scottish artist. The apartment is ideally situated, in a quiet street yet close to the heart of the city. Within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Park, Calton Hill, Scottish Parliament and the Old Town. Light breakfast included in cost - croissants/jam, coffee, tea and milk. Plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and parks nearby. The space The flat has a double bedroom with king-size bed. Bathroom with bath, shower and sink. Separate toilet with sink, spacious living room with dining table. Kitchen is small but well-equipped, with washing machine and large fridge. No microwave. There is a communal garden area, accesible from the ground floor of the communal stair. Guest access PARKING PARKING Parking in busy Edinburgh can be a challenge! CLOSEST PAID PARKING IN REGENT ROAD (ALSO CHEAPER PARKING ON CARLTON TERRACE BRAE) Parking from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. 4 HOUR MAX STAY. Payment by parking app on mobile. CLOSEST FREE PARKING TO MY APARTMENT (While reading these instructions please refer to Google Maps or similar). From Lyne Street drive right towards London Road. Take a right on to London Road (east, towards the sea and the Portobello area). On your left after a few hundred yards you will see Meadowbank Shopping Centre. Here you can park for free for 4 hours only. After Meadowbank Shopping Centre, you come to Meadowbank Sports Centre, shortly after this PARSON'S GREEN TERRACE is on your right. This residential area is a free parking zone. You can leave the car here overnight etc, but you will have either a 20 minute walk back to my flat, or you can get a bus (5 mins) or taxi back. I include a parking map in the welcome info at the flat. Other things to note Because the check out time of 12 noon is generous, and the check in time (2pm) is earlier than many b+bs, I do not offer early check in or luggage drop off.
