The space This renovated three bedroom home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, tons of light and a magnificent view of Mt. Lamborn! This is my personal home, so the experience of staying here is very far away from a corporate-run rental! It's truly a home, with all the amenities and comforts you could want. Sip coffee in the sunroom as the light dawns on the mountains, or enjoy the back patio at the "pink hour" just before sunset. At just under an acre, the expansive yard gives you plenty of space to relax, unwind and take in the Paonia magic. The house has a full library of books to explore, and is a perfect spot for an inspiring creative retreat if that's what you're looking for! Guest access You will have access to the full house, including a large living room, cozy upstairs TV room, sunroom (everyone's favorite place to relax in this house!), dining/kitchen, primary suite, two guest rooms, two full baths (including a soaking tub), patio, deck and large fenced yard. This is my personal home, so you will find many cozy touches and all the amenities you could want for a beautiful and easy stay. Note: the garage is not available for guest use. Other things to note It is rare to find a home with contemporary farmhouse decor in Paonia. All of my friends tell me if they could choose a house to live in it would be mine! I think you will really enjoy staying here. House Rules: Due to fire threat, the house does not have an outdoor grill, and there is no smoking or burning of candles anywhere on the property. This property is not appropriate for pets, children under the age of 12, or gatherings beyond the 3 approved guests. thank you for your compliance with these rules. Note for Summer: The house is cooled by a very effective swamp cooler (a.k.a. evaporative cooler) which vents directly into the shared areas of the house. There is no AC vented into the bedrooms, but if you leave the doors open the rooms stay very cool. Note that swamp coolers are not easily turned on and off, and you can expect temperature fluctuation throughout the day especially on very hot days.
