La Gitana. Mulhacen and Veleta views.
Description
It is a traditional house located on the edge of the village overlooking the highest peaks of the peninsula, Mulhacén 3482 and Veleta. Be careful with your mobility because there are many slopes in the village and stairs in the house. During summer on the "terrace" there may be flies and smells of cattle because there is a goat pen nearby. You can park or use the small parking lot of Las Espeñuelas for loading and unloading, which is 15 meters from the house, but first make sure you can drive. The space The house is kept pleasant with two electric heaters that emit heat 24 hours a day, which are already programmed (please do not change the program). They are in operation from late October to early May. We also have a cast iron wood stove. In general, if you don't turn on the stove, the house is for wearing a sweater in winter. Guest access The house is located in the lower part of the village, which is more authentic and quiet. It's fortunate to have a small parking lot 15 meters from it, normally for limited use for loading and unloading. Please note that we are located in a high mountain village with many slopes and therefore difficult access to the accommodation. Next to the house begins the Sulayr road and the circular of the three villages, both very well signposted. In 10 minutes going down you reach the river by the Chiscal bridge or 20 minutes by the threshing floors to the Abuchite bridge where you can bathe and discover upstream its wonderful pools of totally pure water. Other things to note At the main door you can take out some folding chairs in addition to being able to go out on the upper floor to the terrace (it is not a full-fledged terrace because local regulations have not allowed it) through the main window between the dining room and the bedroom to enjoy incredible views of the ravine and the Veleta, Caldera, Raspones de Río Seco and Mulhacén peaks. Keep the seats attached to the wall in case the wind suddenly rises. The upper floor and spiral stairs are low, for people of 1'80 there are specific places where they have to duck their heads.
