We are local Nashvillians who for over 35 years have hosted students, artists, musicians and songwriters in our Historic Music Row home, Songbird House. Our upstairs apt, the Songbird Nest, sleeps 6 - steps from Belmont University, moments to Vanderbilt, minutes to downtown, 1.5 miles from the convention center and in walking distance to 12 South, Downtown, Edgehill, Hillsboro Village and more, you won't find a better spot in all of Nashville! Our Songbird Nest is a top floor apartment, with stunning views of Historic Music Row off a private furnished balcony. Sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset while listening to the guitarists play as the walk down the road! Perfect for 2 couples or a group of friends, you won't find a better location anywhere! One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen. For more than 4 guests, a comfort daybed is in the king room. And in the living room a queen inflatable mattress and sofa are available. There is one updated full bathroom. Our TV is equipped with a Roku and steaming services and the apt features brand new lux bedding and pillows and plenty of space to be comfortable. With full kitchen amenities - along with professional, stylishly decorated spaces - you will never want to leave... except that you are in the BEST part of town to go explore! Walk to catch a tour at Studio B, where Dolly Parton recorded "Jolene" and Elvis sang many of his top hits. - Local Nashvillian Reece Witherspoon's flagship Drapper James store is in the adjoining neighborhood of 12 South. Just walk through Belmont's campus and you will arrive! We often see stars from the show Nashville at Bar Taco. You have full access to the upstairs apartment and private balcony. There are other airbnb units and full time renters in the other apartments in the home, but you probably won't see them. We will send you suggestions and tips before your arrival. Our co-host and I will be available to ask any questions before, during and after your trip and we live right down the street! Upon booking you will receive extensive local tips about our Music Row neighborhood, hidden Nashville gems and all the best restaurants in town. Historic Music Row is a Nashville gem. With working music studios and lots of history, you will enjoy wandering through the area on your morning walk! Nestled between Vanderbilt and Belmont University, you can walk to both within minutes. Also walkable is Hillsboro Village with world famous Pancake Pantry, Edgehill Village with our favorite cocktail bar Old Glory, the Gulch, Downtown (on a nice day) and 12 South. With just a short $8 uber ride you can be downtown in minutes. We love the great blend of locals and visitors in our fabulous neighborhood! Uber and lift is plentiful and affordable. Many locations are a short walk away. We have walking maps of our favorite spots in the unit and off street parking as well. We are in walking distance to hop off, hop on tour buses. Our home is a special place! For over 35 years we have welcomed artists, musicians (Including world famous singer Jeannie C. Riley) and students to make our house their home.
