We are local Nashvillians who for over 35 years have hosted students, artists, musicians and songwriters in our Historic Music Row home, Songbird House. Our upstairs apt, the Songbird Nest, sleeps 6 - steps from Belmont University, moments to Vanderbilt, minutes to downtown, 1.5 miles from the convention center and in walking distance to 12 South, Downtown, Edgehill, Hillsboro Village and more, you won't find a better spot in all of Nashville! The space Our Songbird Nest is a top floor apartment, with stunning views of Historic Music Row off a private furnished balcony. Sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset while listening to the guitarists play as the walk down the road! Perfect for 2 couples or a group of friends, you won't find a better location anywhere! One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen. For more than 4 guests, a comfort daybed is in the king room. And in the living room a queen inflatable mattress and sofa are available. There is one updated full bathroom. Our TV is equipped with a Roku and steaming services and the apt features brand new lux bedding and pillows and plenty of space to be comfortable. With full kitchen amenities - along with professional, stylishly decorated spaces - you will never want to leave... except that you are in the BEST part of town to go explore! Features include: - one on site, off street parking spot -Washer dryer in building (please note you will need to coordinate with us about the schedule for the washer dryer to insure our cleaning crew isn't using it)- Free wifi, lux bath amenities - Apt décor from the set of the show Nashville! Be like Rayna James and Juliette Barnes! - Call an Uber and in minutes you'll be at the world famous Bluebird Cafe, home to fellow Songbirds, Nashville's songwriting community. (note - please read how to obtain tickets before your arrival if interested in the Bluebird. Reservations required) - Free Kurig coffee and teas - Our adjoining blocks contain historic Music Row. Walk to catch a tour at Studio B, where Dolly Parton recorded "Jolene" and Elvis sang many of his top hits. - Local Nashvillian Reece Witherspoon's flagship Drapper James store is in the adjoining neighborhood of 12 South. Just walk through Belmont's campus and you will arrive! We often see stars from the show Nashville at Bar Taco. Guest access You have full access to the upstairs apartment and private balcony. There are other airbnb units and full time renters in the other apartments in the home, but you probably won't see them. Other things to note Our home is a special place! For over 35 years we have welcomed artists, musicians (Including world famous singer Jeannie C. Riley) and students to make our house their home. Now, we can't wait to have you!
