A warm welcome from Karen and Mike awaits you at The Wee Nook, near Loch Ness . We are centrally located in a peaceful area from which you can explore the highlands of Scotland and beyond. We are situated just off the A831 approximately 4 miles West of Drumnadrochit, where you will find a Co-op, Post Office, medical practice, pharmacy, petrol station, gift shops, visitor centre, public library, an ATM, cafe's, bistro, pubs/restaurants. Our short term let licensing number is HI-51249-F The space The Wee Nook is an annexe to our home, completely self contained. You have your own front door and you will have your own front door key given to you upon arrival. You will have your own living room with a full kitchen at one end including a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave and washing machine. Also included in the annexe is your own bedroom with a kingsize bed and your own bathroom with a bath and seperate shower cubicle. Guest access The Wee Nook is part of our own home BUT it is completely self contained, you have your own parking space, own front door and your own bathroom, kitchen etc. For guests wanting to stay in colder months... we are up a hill, the road is tarmac and it does get gritted when needed. Other things to note Sometimes We may be able to offer you our own home produced honey from our own bees . We have a couple of hives in the garden that are cordoned off…they are well away from the Wee nook , the other end of the garden but please do not get too close. This is the highlands of Scotland… We are fairly rural here…wifi can be intermittent and relays on a 4g signal… if you have a 4g phone it will likely be better! The nearest shop is 4miles away…please don’t arrive by taxi and expect to walk to a local shop for a loaf of bread!
