Our lovely walkout basement apartment offers a warm living/dining combo room, private bathroom, kitchenette, and beautiful bedroom. BEDROOM - A modern and warmly decorated room with a lush king bed, ceiling fan, personal desk, dresser, TV with Netflix and Hulu ready to go, iron & ironing board, and plenty of closet space! MAIN ROOM – The apartment is entered through the main room. This space offers an intimate dining table for 4. The living room also bodes a cozy and romantic wood-burning stove fireplace perfect for an evening in after a long day of adventures! Firewood will be provided; we just ask that you be responsible (fire extinguisher is in the closet if things get out of hand☺). The couch is super comfy and can sleep one. There is plenty of floor space as well for the queen-size air mattress being stored in the hallway closet. KITCHENETTE – You will also have a kitchenette with a full fridge stocked with bottled water, a filtered water pitcher, and coffee creamer. We also offer a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, electric kettle, French press with coffee and provided, and dishes & utensils for dining & cooking. If extra water is needed, Flagstaff tap water is wonderful – it's what everyone drinks up here! The kitchen sink has a garbage disposal whose switch is under the countertop to the right of the sink. BATHROOM – Simple and clean bathroom with a full tub and shower. Extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream & razor, toothpaste & toothbrush, hair dryer, and other bathroom products will be available for those who like to travel light. Perhaps most importantly, for those who enjoy a leisurely experience, the two bathrobes hanging in the bedroom closet are at your disposal! EXTRA STUFF - Extra linens, blankets, pillows, towels, wash clothes, first aid kit, games, chairs, and fan are all housed in the hallway and living room closets. Guest access Your private entrance is located under the upper deck as you walk up the driveway; you’ll know because it’s the BROWN door! We live upstairs, so your door is yours. The whole place is yours with the exception of 2 doors in the hallway and 1 in the kitchen that you won't have access to (those are just closets) and a bi-fold door in the wall, which allows us to access the rental when it's not booked. You are free to park on the street or in the driveway in the parking spot to the furthest left labeled #1. Other things to note The space is on the bottom floor of our family home. We work hard to ensure that you enjoy as much peace and quiet as possible, you will likely hear us at some point, unfortunately. With that said, we are out of the house most mornings by 8 AM. We are usually all asleep by 9 PM on most nights, you're welcome to come and go as you please whenever though, we are not disturbed by any activity downstairs. My mother also lives with us and is extremely quiet and respectful. She is almost always available if you need any immediate help. We believe that what we have should be shared with those who don't, so we will be donating a percentage of our nightly fees to non-profits and charities that are near to our hearts. The current non-profit is "Sage Home" in Flagstaff.
