Casa Tramontana is a beautifully furnished vacation rental (110 m²) in an old house, with an open-plan living and dining area, kitchen and utility room, bedroom, and bathroom upstairs. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the village of Cabo Roig. The ground floor has a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small office that works well as a dressing and storage space. There are beds for up to seven people. The ground floor has direct access to a sunny terrace garden next to a quiet street. Casa Tramontana is located in the village of Cabo Roig, in the coastal zone of the municipality of Orihuela. Beautiful villas and small apartment buildings with holiday homes were built on the Cabo Roig peninsula in the 1970s and 1980s. The buildings represent a classic style of southern Spanish architecture, which has been maintained in an exemplary manner. The richly planted gardens are also well maintained, so the city and landscape are beautiful and cozy. The small peninsula of Cabo Roig, which extends into the Mediterranean Sea, has a particularly pleasant microclimate, as it is slightly warmer in winter and cooler in summer than in the surrounding area. Guest access The Costa Azul line car company operates in the Orihuela area as well as to Alicante airport. Tickets can be obtained from the driver and Cabo Roigfrom the bus on the main road N332 at the stop south of the footbridge. The stop going in the direction of Pilar de Horada is on a ramp some hundred meters south in front of the golf convenience store. The journey between the airport and Torrevieja takes 50 minutes. Check the schedules on the bus internet pages, as there may have been changes. Taxi is a convenient way to get around on the Costa Orihuela if there is a lot of shopping. There is a taxi stand in front of the main entrance of La Zenia Boulevard where you can easily get one. A trip to Calle Tramontana costs around €7–8. You can order a taxi in advance and go with it to Torrevieja, which is connected by bus to Alicante airport. Or vice versa. A taxi ride from Capo Roig to Torrevieja costs €19–22. Taxi shuttle can also be ordered from or to the airport in advance. There is a direct bus connection to Alicante, but some of the shifts are only operated between Torrevieja and Alican-te. When returning from Alicante, the ticket must be purchased in advance on the Inter page of the Costa Azul bus company or the Avanza Group ticket at the bus station. The hatch is always open for half an hour before each shift leaves. On weekends, the buses are often full. Orihuela can be reached by bus via Torrevieja, where the bus station is changed. By Elchee the bus will be changed at Torrevieja bus station and Alicante airport. Other things to note Casa Tramontana is only rented for July and August (Alquiler de temporada). Otherwise, it's a private vacation home. Guests have access to three light chairs, a table and two parasols for beach use.
