The Refuge on Rodney

Located just steps from the ocean and in easy walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment, our Refuge on Rodney is warm, well-appointed, and the perfect place for couples or smaller families. Whether you are looking to bike the trails, play in the sand, check out a great local band, or relax on the porch, it's all within easy reach. So, park the car and ditch the keys; your feet can get you to where you want to be while you're here! The space The Refuge has a cozy, well-appointed, boho feel, and is less than a minute's walk to the ocean. The beach at Rodney Avenue is not bordered by seaside hotels or other large buildings, so the light pollution is low, allowing for better star gazing and moon rise watching. Traffic on this street is reduced for the same reason, keeping street noise to a minimum. The unit's location in the back building further keeps down any street noise. Being situated on the top floor also allows for good breezes and plenty of light. A few things to note: - The Refuge welcomes Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rentals only from mid-June through mid-September. Shorter-term rentals are available from mid-September through early June. - Linens (sheets, towels) are not provided with this unit, but may be rented via Sheets at the Beach. A light comforter, two pillows, and two shams are available for each of the two queen beds. - Unit rental includes access to two parking spaces--one in the condo's front parking area (off-street) and one street parking pass for high-season street parking. - The Refuge is located on the second story; unit access is available only via stairs - The entire property (front and back buildings and all common areas) is strictly smoke-free. - While we love four-legged friends, allergies of the owners and some guests require that our condo be strictly pet-free. Guest access Guests renting the Refuge on Rodney have full access to Unit 6, as well as to the common grilling and outdoor eating and patio areas and outdoor showers. Other things to note The Refuge is one of eight units in this small, homegrown condo association. The units house a combination of owners who enjoy the beach year-round and renters integrating some fun and relaxing beach time into their lives.
