Family lakehouse w/ 500’ of private deepwater riverfront on Upper Turtle Creek, 10 miles from downtown Kerrville. Perfect getaway to swim, float, fish or paddle. Includes access to canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and lake floats. Close to multiple summer camps & Quiet Valley Ranch (Kerrville Folk Festival). Recent upgrades: Playground (2021); washer/dryer, water heater & water softener (2022); irrigation, septic tank & well pump (2023); fridge, driveway & waterfront (2024) The space This is our family property. We love to come here to get away and hope you will too. Please treat our house like you would your own. NOTE: the house has a landline, however it DOES NOT have TV, internet or cell phone service (intermittent cell service is available at the top of driveway) - this is intentional. If you need to remain plugged in during your stay, you may want to consider other options. JULY 2025: No damage from recent floods. Guest access Private lake with dock access, boats (canoes, kayaks & stand-up paddle boards), Kitchen (fridge, oven, washer/dryer, microwave, central HVAC), Dining room (table + 4 chairs), Living Room (sleeper sofa, 3 living room chairs), Deck (with 2 picnic tables & propane grill), play fort, Gazebo with chair swings, Yard games, Board games & more. If you don’t see something in the listing you’d like, please email & ask us! Other things to note 2 supply closets & barn are off limits to guests. We are on a private well with excellent & regularly-tested water quality. Resident donkey, goats & sheep provide great entertainment in adjacent pasture, however please do not feed, touch or pet animals or attempt to open pasture gate. Family friend may stop by from time to time to check on the animals.
