Renovated in 2016, 73 m2, bright, fully equipped, loft-style kitchen, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, light-colored decoration, wooden floors. Review "house rules" before booking. The space Welcome to León and "El Camino de Rey"! The apartment was completely renovated in 2016 and registered as a Tourist Use House. It is ideal for people who want to spend a few quiet days in León, lovers of the cultural heritage and gastronomy of the city and the province, or whose stay is for work reasons. If, on the other hand, your motivation for the visit is mainly nightlife, my Tourist Use House is not suitable since it is a quiet community building, where neighbors of older people and with work schedules reside, so please maintain the tranquility that we all like. No parties can be held in the apartment. The new kitchen, white and modern, is equipped with all kinds of kitchenware and appliances. Porcelain floors in the kitchen, bathrooms, and terrace; wood flooring in the rest of the house; the glazed and very sunny terrace overlooks a well-known avenue in León, near INCIBE and the Civil Guard Barracks; thermal bridges and tilt-and-turn windows insulate it thermally and acoustically, so you can rest very well when you return from enjoying León and its province. Full bathrooms with a shower. The VUT 214/LE is on the second floor and although renovated, the building is old, from 1965, it lacks an elevator, with 12 homes, 3 per floor, neighbors reside throughout the year. The VUT has Wi-Fi. Guests are asked to be careful with the use of the house, for proper maintenance and to be able to continue offering accommodation in good condition and comfortable for everyone. Guest access It is a detached apartment, with access from the street to the entrance. It has two flights of stairs, one per floor, with lots of light on each landing since it has three windows on each one. There is a small flight of stairs from the entrance. The building is old and does not have an elevator, but the house is newly renovated with good qualities. Close to the historic center, which can be reached on foot. The area has free "ORA" parking in front of the building and you can usually find a spot without much loss of time. You also have a fairly cheap outdoor parking subscription per day just two minutes from the VUT, or you can use the 24-hour underground parking service of nearby hotels or the Corte Inglés de León that are just a 5-minute walk away. I recommend walking to the center, it is a 15-minute walk and you will arrive earlier than by car because the historic center of León is practically completely pedestrianized and it is not very easy to park unless you opt for private parking and the "ORA" blue zone. Other things to note The heating boiler is very safe, so it's always at 6º even if you see it off. Please don't set it to more than 20º in winter (almost 26º actually) to maintain a warm temperature inside the house without extreme consumption. The environment will thank you. In any case, you will see that even in the cold winters of León, the house's insulation means that most days, no heating is needed!
