The space The property features 5.5 acres of desert land, a main house and a casita, which was the original homestead cabin on the property. The house and casita, which are both included in your rental, are joined by a large outdoor courtyard with a picnic table, gas grill, fire pit and bar stools to enjoy the sunset. The back of the house has a covered porch with rocking chairs, a hammock, and a huge shade tree that makes a magical sound when the wind blows. The eclectic interior is tastefully decorated with handpicked flea-market finds, vintage & reclaimed wood furniture, and unique art pieces. Both bedrooms feature outdoor views and comfortable real beds (1 king, 1 full) as well as ample closet space. The living room has a large sofa, flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a full kitchen stocked with basics and a small breakfast nook. The casita has a very comfortable twin daybed, yoga mat, and meditation pillows—a perfect place to just relax and/or accommodations for an additional guest. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to both the main house and casita (they are not rented out separately) and are free to roam the 5.5-acre property that surrounds. Other things to note PETS: Well-behaved pets are welcome at Havalina! Please refer to the house rules for more info. HORSES: our neighboring property has 1-2 stalls available for boarding. If this is of interest for evacuees with horses we will put you in touch directly with them for rates & info.
