Macinaghju / Mare Bed and Breakfast

Marie-Paule Cesari welcomes you in her guest rooms at Casa Santa Maria, in Macinaghju, on the tip of Cap Corse. Casa Santa Maria is an ideal resting place, in the middle of the fields, easy to access, located 5 minutes walk from the village and the small port of Macinaghju. The space Located on the first floor of the family house, the three guest rooms each have an individual bathroom, air conditioning, central heating, and a flat screen TV. The Sole and Mare rooms are equipped with a large bed for two people, and the Luna room with an extra bed in one place. In case of need, cribs or cribs can be installed. Bed linen and bath towels are provided. Please note, however, that our dog and cat friends are not allowed, and that smoking is not allowed in rooms and common areas. In the spirit of bed and breakfast, breakfast is an important moment of relaxation and exchange. You will be entitled to a homemade breakfast: hot drinks and milk, large glass of fruit juice, butter, old-fashioned local bread, homemade jams, depending on the days homemade pastry or canistrelli (traditional biscuits made locally and artisanally). Guest access Guests have free access to WiFi and also have on the floor a common area consisting of a dining room, and a large terrace where it is possible to have breakfast. They can also relax or rest in the garden, with sun loungers, benches, tables and chairs at their disposal. For cars, private parking is reserved for guests in front of the house, in the heart of the family estate, and cyclists and motorcyclists can safely park bicycles and motorcycles. In accordance with the rules of the guest rooms, our guests do not have access to the kitchen, which is reserved for us for the preparation of breakfast: our guests can not prepare meals. They can, however, take their meal already prepared on the terrace or in the garden. Also note that due to Covid, unfortunately, we cannot allow them to use our fridge, as we gladly did before.
