Grandview Farm Cottage

Grandview Cottage is a two bedroom country house, situated on our farm under the foothills of the Southern Alps of New Zealand's South Island. We own the farm surrounding Grandview Cottage, and we look forward to seeing you around and sharing our little slice of paradise! The space Grandview Cottage is only 10 minutes from Fairlie so easily accessible if you need to pop to town for shopping, to the amazing Fairlie Bakehouse, or out for dinner. The cottage is en-route from Christchurch to the amazing sights of the South Island including Lake Tekapo and Queenstown to name a few. The Cottage: A fully equipped small and easy-to-use kitchen features in the open-plan kitchen/living area, with a dining table for four guests. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine for your use while staying at Grandview Cottage. The open plan living area is created for your comfort, with sofas positioned to take in the views while relaxing in-front of the wood-burning fire (all firewood is supplied). Alternatively there is also a heatpump to keep you warm in winter, and cool in the summer months. The flat screen television is enabled for you to login to your own Netflix account to keep up with your favorites, local channels are also provided. Two beautifully appointed bedrooms boast uninterrupted views to the farmland and mountain ranges beyond. All linen including bedding and towels are professionally supplied and are of hotel quality. The bathroom at Grandview Cottage has both a toilet and shower, and the laundry is fully appointed with a washing machine and tub. The outdoor areas of Grandview Cottage are simply wonderful, encompassing a covered verandah with outdoor furniture provided, perfect for kicking back with your morning coffee or evening wine while taking in the mountain vistas surrounding you. There is covered parking available for one car, with plenty of room for other guest parking. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and the surrounding fenced lawn area.
