We have a guest house that can take a beating, in that sense, no modern and sleek decor but because I am very much for recycling we have also furnished the apartment mostly with used items. For children, it is often a paradise. We will never participate in the B&B program on TV. Guests must take us as we are, a working farm where very hard work is done, every day, and where sometimes a straw or puddle is in the yard. Imagine yourself back in time. The space We have an organic dairy farm and can also provide breakfast (organic at an additional cost). You will stay in a cozy converted hayloft with panoramic views, kitchen and sitting area, two bedrooms and bathroom with shower and toilet. Where there is still PEACE and SPACE, you will stay in the hayloft in the good old days! And yet everything is within reach. For children, it is also an ideal and curious playground, you can help the farmer in consultation or milk cows, and for you as a parent or guardian, an affordable place for your vacation for a longer time but also for just two nights bed and breakfast! Renting a bike is possible on request, we live on the beautiful junction route that goes through a large part of Friesland. Breakfast is paid in cash or by a tikkie afterwards. This is NOT included. Nearby are numerous possibilities for entertainment, museums, swimming facilities, petting zoos a short distance away, barefoot path. In and outdoor play areas and 20 minutes away is also the beautiful Aqua Zoo. Guest access You will have access to your guest area of course and the farm! We appreciate keeping a bit of privacy ourselves. Starting after 2 p.m. until 8 p.m., departure between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. I often contact you in advance to find out what time you expect to arrive and then try to welcome you personally. Other things to note Sometimes during busy work on the property, it can be noisy in the evening, but in general our guests find this only very interesting and are happy to help out. We have 1 dog and sometimes a guest dog, our dog likes to let you know that she is in charge here on the premises. So are you bringing a dog yourself? She is super sweet to children and very affectionate, but unfortunately jealous of dogs she does not know. After 1 introduction, it's usually okay.
