Richmond Bridge Accommodation ‘Two The Bridge’

Luxurious, calm, for two, right in the centre of Tasmania's renowned 18th Century village, private access to Australia's oldest bridge. Richmond is 25 min from the capital Hobart and 15 min from Hobart Airport. The village has cafes, restaurants, wine/whisky tasting, shops and a pub. The space Great for couples or a solo traveller, a place for moments and memories. Take remarkable images of Richmond Bridge, enjoy the privacy of the garden and hunt for strawberries. On a clear night, see the Milky Way in all its glory and if you are lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the Aurora Australis (Southern Lights). It is a one bedroom, one bathroom space with a luxury bathroom (including stylish bath and waterfall shower). There is an open plan living/dining/kitchen leading onto a large covered deck. The deck has direct views to Richmond Bridge and other heritage landmarks. There is a reverse-cycle airconditioner for heating and cooling. In addition, there is a LG Smart TV (internet enabled), dishwasher drawer, oven, glass cooktop and Bluetooth speaker for iPod/iPhone/android. Broadband wifi is available. The bedroom has a queen bed, craftsman designed and made Tasmanian timber bedhead, hanging space, bedside tables, multiple power points and luggage racks. The bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom, with a waterfall shower and an elegant designer bath with matching vanity and toilet suite. There is overhead heating and floor heating (on a timer in autumn/winter/spring), exhaust fan and fold-back window opening to the private garden over the bath. There are private gardens with hedges, stylish fencing and established trees, and manicured lawn in the back and front. A foraging garden provides places to pick some strawberries, tomatoes or just look at a panorama of Tasmania’s history. Guest access The cottage is on self-contained (fenced) grounds with off-street parking. You have access to all the garden and there is a private gate leading to the riverbank (riverside walks) and Richmond Bridge.
