Here, there is no impersonal accommodation furnished solely for rentals: you will find everything you need to truly live in the house, cook, settle in comfortably, enjoy the garden, play, read, work, or simply spend time together. We deliberately leave everything you need for a family home at your disposal: a fully equipped kitchen to cook like at home, plenty of everyday utensils and appliances, games, books, equipment for children, etc. The idea is that you can drop your bags and quickly feel at home. ### 🍂 In fall and winter: a cozy house The house is externally insulated and has a high-performance wood-burning stove in the living room, which provides pleasant, long-lasting warmth... a real family home atmosphere on chilly days. Upstairs, the bedrooms have reversible air conditioning, which can also be used for heating. ⚠️ Good to know before booking: There is no central heating. The living room and the living spaces are heated with a wood-burning stove, and the upstairs has reversible air conditioning. If you like the charm of a wood-burning fire and are comfortable with how it works, you will enjoy a particularly pleasant atmosphere in autumn and winter. 🌿 A house with a history It's a house where we live year-round, with its books, games, amenities, mementos and large garden. It is therefore not "perfect" in the sense of standardized hotel accommodation: it is lively, family-friendly and designed for living. Downtown Pau is easily accessible by bike or bus. From the house, you can also set out to discover the Pyrenees, Béarn or the ocean: 🏔️ Pyrenees – about 30 min. 🌊 Basque Coast – about 1 hour 🚲 Bike paths and greenways 🌳 Pau Woods and walking paths nearby ❤️ A stay like being at home Our goal is simple: for you not to feel like you're in a rental, but in a home where you could live for a few days. You will probably find more than the bare minimum: because this is our home, it is equipped for our daily life. In autumn and winter, enjoy Pau in a different way: walks, hikes, exploring Béarn and the hillsides of Jurançon, returning to the peacefulness of the house, and evenings by the fire.
