Living room includes very comfy, queen size, pull out sofa. Easy access to premier night life and entertainment just below at Miss Kitty's Grape Escape. For an additional guest fee(s), we are happy to accept your potty trained dog(s). Simply let us know when you book and add additional guests to your reservation to accommodate your pet. If your little one does not like the potential for loud noise or the occasional cannon bomb or fireworks, you may not want to stay on Main St. Additionally, we expect your dog to not be left unattended in the apartment if he or she cannot handle it. We can’t have dogs barking and waking the neighbors but obviously a dog might bark about something. We do expect you to keep their volume very low. Our bar downstairs is dog friendly for friendly dogs. You are welcome to use the patio were you access the apartment, but the bar patio below you is only open until 12:55am as you must adhere to city laws regarding local liquor ordinances. Myself and my employees at the bar on the first floor called The Grape Escape are available for anything you need. Let us know about any special occasions or special requests for the rooms as well. Downtown Galena is historically rich from the Civil War era. There are over 100 stores one right after the other. Plenty of diverse food choices (and dietary needs), great coffees and beers, and plenty of touring opportunities. I suggest checking out VisitGalena.Org for more tourism information. And you can always ask downstairs at the bar for those off the beaten path gems. Unless you're going to Walmart, you can practically park your car and never use it during your stay. Everything is right here. If you want to head out to the vineyards, check out the year-round activities at Chestnut Mountain Resort or Golfing at the 3 PGA rated golf courses at Eagle Ridge and drinking is on the menu, you can always call for cab service at A to B or Eco Cab. You are staying above Galena's premier music venue and volume ranges depending on the time and the night. Our guests say it's fine so far, but I just want to be sure you know that weekend nights are louder in the bar and on this end of town in general. We also have a neighbor's dog named Hanna that likes to say hello from her perch next door.
