Weekly service for long stays The space This Secure Spacious Relaxed Warm Cottage, with equipped kitchen which has practically everything you need, including an airfryer and a blender. It's quietly situated at the rear of the main house and is a nice appointed space with thoughtful self catering amenities and conveniences you might have at home. Available is 10 lr purified water, milk, tea, coffee, sugar and ground coffee for plunger, cooking oil, salt, pepper, some spices and serviettes. It boasts a dedicated workspace which is ideal for a nomad or work from home. You will find the Wi-Fi logon info & password on a sign, located by the microwave. Cottage consists of 1 bedroom, bathroom with bath and with a separate shower, kitchen and a lounge with a comfy quality sleeper couch and desk. Solar power outlet that is available, is for cell phones and laptops only. There is a gas bottle with cooker plate available to cook on when the power is off. An emergency light will be provided for over 5 hour outages if the solar battery has not had enough time to recharge. A gas geyser provides hot water. Turn the hot tsp on full at first. If it's very cold the hot water may a little while to come through. There is space outside where guests can sit and smoke and ashtrays are provided. The Smart TV is set up with Netflix / 'Guest' account. Unexpected overnight guests are welcome, when arranged with myself, and are only charged at R150 per person, payable when you arrange for your friend/guest to stay overnight with you. They are provided with a fresh towel and of course bedding, if using the sleeper couch. Maximum people the cottage can accomodate is 4 (including children). Everything is done to make your stay memorable and comfortable. Cotton sheets and a comfortable double bed ensures a great sleep. An electric blanket on the bed in winter is a charm. There is a braai, so bring some charcoal if you plan to braai. Feel free to use our lovely pool and front garden. You will find swimming towels in the bedroom cupboard in summer. N.B. Switch off all appliances when going out. Also please open the blind by the glass door before coming in or going out. Please note we are not set out with small children in mind. Consider safety and what would be appropriate space /amenities for young children when booking. Park under the big shade port on the left hand side of the driveway. Access to the cottage, is via the path to the left of the house's garage. Look forward to a warm welcome and been given the cottage keys and also familiarised with the property Other things to note There are some books available to read, if you feel so inclined to pass some time. Summer info: There is a really effective fan with mister in the lounge, and a fan in the bedroom to keep cool. Winter info: On the bed you will have an electric blanket and a wall panel heater in the bedroom. It is on a timer which can be overridden by a single switch. We will show you how it works. There's also a wall panel heater in the living area too. When there is load shedding we provide a gas heater if required. Excessive use of gas will be for your own account. On the EskomSePush App we are under RobinHills (Block 15) for the loadshedding schedule. No smoking or vaping inside. Pse note house rules. Ashtrays are provided outside by the chairs and table. Please check all appliances are off when you go out for the day and when you check out. A top loading washing machine and detergent is available in the courtyard for your use. Pegs for the washing line can be found under the kitchen sink. The garden service comes in on a Tuesday around 13H45 for about an hour. Please excuse the noise they make around the cottage for a short time. There is a big black bin in the courtyard on the way to the washing line, and one close to the main entrance gate, if you wish to empty your bin. There are spare bin bags under the kitchen sink. Friday is our refuse removal day. Apps for, Checkers 60Sixty, Spar, Pick n Pay and Woolies Dash all have awesome quick delivery service for convenient grocery shopping.
