Cozy & quiet on the river... the Captain's House

A sweet, well appointed house on a lovely tidal river... we welcome you to relax into the rhythm of our quiet and tranquil neighborhood. The space This house has been completely renovated over the past couple of years. It was built by our 90 year old neighbor's Father and is now in our family. We invite you to enjoy this special space in the Midcoast area... just off of Route 1 and close by to Wiscasset, Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, but when you are rocking away on the screened-in porch looking out towards the river... you truly feel like you are miles away! Guest access Water and tea are available in the Kitchen as well as basic staples. Towels, shampoo, soap and hairdryer are provided in the bathrooms. A first aid kit, bug lotion/spray and flashlights are also available on the premises. Other amenities, such as an alarm clock, are available as well. Please note - our guests will have access to the entire house including the basement laundry area with the exception of one side of the basement that is separate and will be locked. My husband has a kitchen there and makes a really delicious hot sauce called Solsa. Although the kitchen is never in use while guests are occupying the house, there is always the chance that he may need access to it. If he did need to access it, he would enter from a separate entrance and we always check in with our guests beforehand to ensure their privacy. I thought you might be interested to know this! Other things to note OTHER THINGS OF NOTE: We have a pack n' play available for use. Please communicate your bedding needs to us in advance so that we can make the necessary modifications to the sleeping arrangements.
