Little Beechwood Oakhill Somerset Bath Wells

Nestled in the heart of the Mendips, our beautiful newly refurbished cottage sits on the edge of Harridge Woods Nature Reserve. Completely detached and self-contained, our bright open planned lounge/kitchen space with double doors opening out to the private land, makes our home a perfect place for peaceful get away for couples or families. When the sun is out, it pours in through the French doors that open out on to the decking from late morning to sunset. The space Our little cottage, which is located in the small village of Oakhill, has been newly refurbished to meet the needs of our guests looking for a relaxing get away. Providing a private double bedroom, a separate bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and lounge area with a king-size sofa bed, large private land, utility room complete with a washing/drying machine, private off-road parking for 2 cars and beautiful decking running along the front of the cottage with seating and a cosy chiminea for those nights you want to relax and watch the sunset. We are situated on the A367 so we are very easy to find. The beautiful city of Wells and the Georgian City of Bath are both easily accessible via bus which stops outside the house every hour. However, there are plenty more locations that are easy to get to by car such as: Cheddar Gorge (22mins) Longleat (30mins) Wookey Hole (20mins) Babbington House (10mins) Glastonbury (25mins) Clarks Village (25mins) Bristol (30mins) Stonehenge (40mins) Bath (25mins) Wells (15mins) We will provide you with cotton linen, fluffy towels and tea, coffee, sugar and milk and complementary bread/croissant and butter. Apart from this your stay will be self-catered. WIFI broadband and a smart television are also available to use free of charge. Guest access Little Beech-Wood is available for you throughout the year but we do ask for a minimum of 2 nights stay. Guests will have full access to the property 24 hours a day. With regards to check-in/out times, we ask that guests check-in after 4pm and check-out by 11.00 am, however alternative times can be arranged prior to the stay, if necessary. There is parking for up to two cars. A one night stay could be arranged in special circumstances and would need to be arranged with the host. Other things to note Little Beechwood is perfectly situated for access to many local attractions such as Bath, Cheddar, Wells, the Bath and West show ground , Glastonbury Festival just to name a few. Activities, such as climbing, diving and walking are also available. We are on a main road with a bus (174 Bath to Wells and back) that stops outside the drive.
