The Star Dome - Luxurious Star Gazing Retreat

This luxurious glamping accommodation features a king size bed with plush pillows and a luxuriously cosy duvet, a full sized dining table and chairs, outside furniture, a luxurious Scandinavian wood fired hot tub (£75 extra charge), BBQ,Microwave, Toaster and a private bathroom with a steaming hot shower, a flushing toilet and convenient kitchenette. There are also 2 x fold out beds suitable for adults and children. The space This luxurious glamping accommodation features a king size bed with plush pillows and a luxuriously cosy duvet, a dining room table and chairs, comfy armchairs, sideboard and tea and coffee making facilities. There are 2 x fold out single beds which can be set up anywhere in the Dome (all bedding is provided, suitable to adults and children). There is a full suite of outside furniture including a large sofa, coffee table as well as a parasol (for hot summer days). We have a Scandinavian wood fired hot tub available to hire which is situated in a private area with great views of surrounding countryside (£75 Extra Charge). The hot tub is covered to allow for use in any weather. (£75 extra charge to be paid by bank transfer or cash on arrival. Once agreed the hot tub can be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival). The hot tub will be lit on your day of arrival and includes one basket of logs. Extra logs can be purchased from the main house. There is one king size bed and 2 x single fold out beds (suitable for adults and children). The fold out beds can be erected anywhere in the Dome. Bedding is provided. There is a private bathroom with a steaming hot shower, a flushing toilet and convenient kitchenette. Facilities in the kitchen include; Microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge with a small freezer. There is no electric oven. All dogs welcome (max 3 per booking) extra charge £25 per dog to be paid for in cash on arrival. All dog owners must adhere to our dog policy copies of which are available on request. Please provide a valid email address when requesting this. STRICTLY Dogs are NOT allowed on furniture. Dog sitting service by prior arrangement. There are plenty of walks in the surrounding area for dogs and people. Any damage caused by dogs will be charged accordingly. Due to limited parking we can only accommodate one car per booking additional cars only by prior arrangement. Fire starting kit £10 and should be pre ordered. Gas for the outside firepit must be pre-ordered and is £25 per bottle. Early check in late check our may be arranged £25 ask for details. Set within 45 acres of private secluded woodland with many walks on the doorstep. The setting is in natural woodland. There is very little light pollution which enables guests to enjoy clear starry skies weather permitting. For this reason artificial light in the natural environment is kept to a minimum. Guest access Guests have access to 45 acres of private woodland. Other things to note Fire starting kit £10. Further logs are supplied at £7 per basket. Gas for the outside firepit must be pre-ordered and is an optional extra charge of £25 per bottle. Hot tub usage is an added extra at £75 which includes one basket of logs for reasonable use. Any extra logs can be purchased at £7.00 per basket. Please note that once ordered, the hot tub must be cancelled 24 hours before arrival in writing otherwise the payment will be due (even if you no longer wish to use it. This is because it takes 4 hours to prepare). All dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. Guests are reminded that this is a glamping experience. The main source of cooking is a bbq outside on the decking area. The main source of heating is a log burner and in colder temperatures guests must be prepared for colder evenings with warm clothing such as slippers and a fleece dressing gown. Logs are not included in the price and must be pre ordered. A fire lighting kit for your log burner can be supplied at an additional charge of £10. This includes fire lighters, kindling and one bag of logs. Please note that glamping is NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN IN WINTER (January/February/March). Bookings in winter with children will only be accepted by prior agreement. Terms and Conditions must be signed before guests can enter the property. Please note that a positive covid test no longer restricts travel, therefore no refunds can be given for guests who do not wish to travel. Please ensure you have the appropriate medical/travel insurance.
