Our Oak Room 2 will have you feeling right at home. It has a brand new full over full bunkbed with a twin trundle. The bunkbed is heavy duty with a 700lb per bunk rating. The room has a closet with hangers and a lot of shelf space. The bathroom, kitchen, living rooms and outside spaces are shared with other travelers and your hosts. The house sits on a little over 10 acres and is surrounded by Oak, Pine and Manzanita trees. Our rural neighborhood is peaceful with occasional visits from wildlife. The space The room is private with a lockable door. Your bath towels are provided to you within the room. The room has it's own baseboard heater. The whole house is cooled by an evaporated cooler. There is a standalone fan available for use in the room. Guest access The common areas: living room, tv room and kitchen are all guest accessible. The supply closet and host pantry in the kitchen are not guest accessible. Please do not enter the other bedrooms, we ask for your consideration in our other guests privacy. I do not offer my washer and dryer as amenities in my listings. I make exceptions on occasion with a $5 per load fee that can either be sent via Airbnb or paid in cash. Laundry is not to be done during quiet hours 10pm to 8am. During your stay I am reachable via Airbnb messaging, text or phone most anytime. I have a very active, busy life with multiple businesses therefore I am in and out a lot. I always hope my path will cross with my guests as I enjoy meeting them. Other things to note When booking with us you are agreeing to our house rules. Please make sure you read these rules prior to booking. We are not a suitable accommodation for children 12 and under, therefore we will not accept bookings or requests that include children. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside or on the property. Our quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. We appreciate your consideration in making our home a peaceful getaway for everyone. We have a German Shepard that may on occasion want to meet you. He is a friendly dog name Charlie that responds to the sit command and others as well. Sometimes he may initially bark, but if you say hello you will have an instant best friend. We recently rescued and adopted a stray dog and named her Ahnni. She is sweet and gentle, but still unsure of people. We have temporarily used orange netting to enclose the backyard until we are certain she will not leave the property. Our apologies for this orange netting and that the backyard is no longer usable by guests. You are welcome however to go out and play with her and Charlie. During the winter months storms are expected and common. If it's actively snowing chains or a four-wheel drive will most likely be needed for our driveway. During these conditions are driveway may be icy as well. Alteration requests for date changes will not be accepted if it is within 7 days of the booking, unless there is an extenuating circumstance. Only 1 date alteration request will be accepted penalty free, all others will incur a $25 fee. If you are canceling or requesting a date alteration due to a extenuating circumstance you will be asked to contact Airbnb directly.
