The space This is an old building typical of the region, completely renovated. At an altitude of 800 m and in the heart of the green Alpine pastures, the village of Theys is a magnificent haven of life flooded by the sun where local agriculture revives the taste buds. Example: the delicatessen makes everything and with its own pigs and cows... The cheese is local, the vegetables are beautiful and good! Set on one of the balconies of the Belledone massif, Theys is also a tourist destination 10 minutes from the Prapoutel ski resort, where summer activities will not leave you with a break: downhill mountain biking, water slides, archery, hiking, mountain lakes (there are 7), etc. Guest access At home everything is illuminated by the sun, it's good to do nothing, walking barefoot on the old wooden floors all dug is already a pleasure. The walls are 1 meter thick, so the house is cool in summer. Otherwise, outside in the garden, you can hear the nearby streams flowing, a small natural fountain fills 2 authentic washhouses, and a 200-year-old bread oven is in perfect working order. Please note, however, that to make pizzas, it is not easy to use and is even not recommended given the size of the oven! You'd have to make 20 pizzas per batch, and you'd need to gather an astronomical amount of wood beforehand! Our wood supplies are for personal use only! In the garden, there is also a large trampoline and a wooden skate ramp, currently in very poor condition, which can be used as a playground but no longer as a ramp; however, skateboarders can still go to the skatepark bowl in Theys, 5 minutes from the house! A breakfast area under a tree and a nice area around the fire with seating and grilling facilities. Only the 2 cellars will be locked.
