The Moors suite: on Hill Farm

Escape to the peaceful countryside with a stay in our farmhouse suite, located in the rolling hills between Dartmoor and Exmoor. Each room is spacious, bright, and boasts breath-taking views from large windows. You'll even have a view from the roll top bath in the private bathroom. The space Our suite is perfect for all seasons, with a cool and comfortable atmosphere in the summer and a cosy ambiance in the winter. It includes two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite washroom, a private sitting room with a breakfast bar and table, and a shared kitchen. Help yourself to coffee and tea in the sitting room, or add on a selection of breakfast items for a donation. On the farm, you can meet our friendly hens and peacock, or enjoy the gardens and swing. We can accommodate groups of up to six with a couple of single mattresses available. Situated in a prime location, you'll have easy access to all that North Devon has to offer. Or, simply relax on the farm and take in the stunning surroundings. Fluffy white towels, white cotton bed sheets, and duvet covers are provided for your stay. Experience the beauty of the countryside at our farmhouse suite. Guest access The Moors suite can be accessed through a private entrance. There is a shared garden and parking spaces which are at the front of the property. Please note there is a path and stairs between the car park and the suites. The space is spread across two floors with a toilet on the midlevel. The main kitchen is shared and you are welcome to have breakfast on the kitchen deck which has an astonishing view. Avid walkers and intrepid explorers will enjoy being situated halfway between Dartmoor and Exmoor, staying here gives you access to all North Devon. You can even see Exmoor on a clear day. During your stay We live separately in part of the main house but we may meet in the kitchen. Other things to note As the name suggests, Hill Farm sits on the top of a hill. The nearest shop is a mile away so come prepared with essentials and the food you need for your first meal. We provide necessities: tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, soap, toilet rolls, and towels are supplied in the cottage. Additionally, a local farm can supply readymade meals and we can usually supply fresh farm eggs, bread and milk. Hill Farm also have two cottages available for rent. Cider cottage sleeps 5 guests and Talot cottage sleeps 4, both have access to a garden area and parking.
