Hartleap Bed and Breakfast

Set in a stunning location, Hartleap is a rural retreat offering peace, comfort and luxury from which to enjoy all the Borders has to offer and yet only one hour's drive from Edinburgh. A double bedroom with king-size bed, private sitting room with log fire and a private dining room create a tranquil oasis. Delicious home cooked meals using organic and home grown produce are prepared with flair. Hartleap specialises in vegetarian cuisine but fish dishes are also available. The space Hartleap is set in the rolling Borders hills in a 1.5 acre garden with riverside walks. Some of the best walking and cycling in Southern Scotland is on the doorstep and historic castles, abbeys and grand houses are within easy reach to visit. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the dining room and sitting room and are welcome to sit in the spacious conservatory to enjoy the outside from the inside! They are also free to enjoy the garden. During your stay We are happy to offer suggestions for exploring the area and show guests around the garden if they are interested. We aim to create an environment where guests are free to relax and enjoy their surroundings with minimum intrusion but always available if needed. Other things to note Because of its very rural location guests are advised that a car is essential.
