Travel time is 5-6 hours (depending on traffic) and the fare is P163 for non-aircon bus, P200 for aircon bus or minivan. In Maya, take the public boat to Malapascua. The ticket is P100 plus additional P20 per person and P20 per bag in case it's low-tide and you have to use a flat boat to transfer you to the ferry. Public boats are operating from 6:30AM to 5:30 PM (every 30 minutes) weather permitting. 2. The comfortable and easy way: Let us arrange your transfer. That cuts our travel time to Maya down to 3-4 hours (depending on traffic) and saves you the trip from the airport to the bus terminal. A car (up to 2 persons) is P3,000 and a van (up to 8 persons) is P4,500. A private boat (up to 20 persons) is P1,500 (from 7:00 AM to 5:30PM), plus the additional fees for a flat boat as described above. Please don't forget to bring enough cash to the island, since there's no ATM in Malapascua. Credit cards are not accepted everywhere and the bank fees for credit card payments are quite high.
