Luxury yurt campsite: Cherry Blossom Yurt

At Auvergne Naturelle, we offer a unique holiday experience in the undiscovered Auvergne region of France. Our luxury yurt accommodation provides the opportunity to sleep under canvas but with all the comforts of a hotel room. Surrounded by woodland and beautiful scenery, it is a perfect holiday for those who want to get back to nature in an area of France which is unspoilt and peaceful. The space Cherry Blossom Yurt: A private yurt situated close to the campfire and children's area. The campsite consists of 4 yurts . The 18ft diameter yurts are light and spacious, each with a private, en suite toilet. Each yurt sits on a raised wooden platform, providing an area to relax with hammocks and dining table and chairs. The yurts are fully furnished with a king size bed and storage. Each yurt has its own private, composting toilet. There is also a private shower room for each yurt with complimentary organic toiletries, which are located in an area away from the yurts. We can accommodate extra people in the yurts and can provide camp beds, suitable for children up to 12 years. All bed linen and towels are provided, free of charge. Solar powered lighting is available in the yurt. The self catering area is situated in the barn where guest have their own individual cooking area and worktop with a shared sink and washing area. Yurts Each yurt has a king size bed with bed linen and duvets. For the children, there are camp beds with a pillow and duvet and bed linen. Bath sheets and hand towels are also provided. For your clothes, there is a wardrobe and shelves. Mosquito nets are also provided. Each yurt has its own composting toilet, located next to the yurt. Electricity and Lighting The yurts have solar powered lights. There is no electric source in the yurts; however, there is power in the shower block, with a socket for hairdryers etc. There is also power available should you wish to charge your phone or camera in the barn. Self Catering Area Each yurt is allocated a self-catering area in the barn which includes a 3 ring gas hob, kettle, pans, sieve, jug, salad bowl, mugs, glasses, wine glasses, cereal bowls, plates, cutlery, wooden spoons, peeler, bottle opener (most important!) chopping boards, tea towel. Each yurt has its own fridge. There is a small freezer area for ice packs available. There is also an honesty drinks fridge with local beers, wines and soft drinks. The sink area comes with washing up liquid and scrubbers/sponges/cloths etc. Please feel free to bring along some rubber gloves if required! Fresh coffee is provided at breakfast; however we do also have cafetieres available for your own use. There is also complimentary tea and herbal teas available. Toiletries We try to keep the site as eco-friendly as possible and we supply scented organic, biodegradable products including shower gel and hand wash. You are also welcome to use your own toiletries. Laundry Facilities We offer the use of our washing machine at the house, in the event that you run out of clothes! There is a small charge for washing powder and electric of 5 Euros per load or 10 Euros if you would like the clothes dried for you. Each yurt has a clothes airer. Natural swimming pool The natural swimming pool is 8m x 4m and 2m deep. The pool has a fence and lockable gate. During busy periods, families can book a time slot to limit the amount of people in the pool at the same time. As there are no chemicals to clean the water, we ask to please not use sun cream in the pool. For children, we advise to bring along UV tops to protect from the sun. Guest access Guests have use of all the shared facilities including self catering kitchen area, childrens area and 20 acres of woodland to explore! Other things to note WIFI is available in the shared barn area
